汉能太阳能汽车的核心技术有这样几项:

    首先是汉能高效的砷化镓太阳能芯片,转化效率31.6%,

    是目前世界的最高水准。在标准阳光照射下,每平方米发电316W。如果我们每辆车上有6m2的接受面积,每天有6个标准日照小时,则每天可获得的太阳能发电量为11.36度。假设有90%的能量是可以转换集成到储能电池用于车辆的驱动。对一辆一般常用电动车来说,这些电能就可以行驶80~100公里。考虑到天气的变化,年平均累计里程也可以达到2万公里,满足85%家庭的日常工作与生活的需要。

    其次是薄膜弯曲。众所周知,汽车是技术和艺术的融合。它不但具有文化上的内涵,更具备时尚的因素。像玻璃一样的一块块太阳能板与汽车外表由各种优美线条形成的双曲表面是一对不可协调的矛盾。柔性可弯曲,为我们解决了这一矛盾。小小的一点点进步“可弯曲”,使太阳能芯片制造与汽车造型走到了一起。

    第三就是重量轻。目前的重量是每瓦只有一克。在汽车轻量化要求不断提高的今天,每瓦一克已不成为汽车产品开发的负担。

    第四是弱光发电技术。大太阳并不是时时刻刻都在的。所以早晨,黄昏,阴天时也能发电是一个很好地补充。虽然它不是一个主角,但它一定是一个最佳配角。在弱光的情况下,也能有一些能量的补充,增加我们使用者的信心。

其他还有一些优点,比如寿命长,25年只衰减20%,远远大于车辆其它零部件的相应技术标准。可修复性,在汽车使用中难免有事故,有损坏。优化的电气设计,可使损坏部分可替换,可修复,而其他部分则仍可正常工作。

    正是这些关键技术,汉能认为,“从太阳获取能量而驱动电动车,满足一般家庭的生活需求,是完全可以实现的。”
 

Core technologies of Hanergy’s solar power vehicle:

1. The vehicle uses Hanergy’s high-efficiency gallium arsenide (GaAs) solar cells, whose conversion efficiency has reached 31.6% - a world record.

In standard-level sunlight, one-square-meter solar cells can reach a power generation capacity of 316W. If there are six-square-meter solar cells on a vehicle, getting six hours of standard-level sunlight every day, the solar cells can generate 11.36kWh electricity every day. If 90% of the energy can be transferred and stored in the battery to power the vehicle, that amount of electricity is enough for an average electric vehicle to travel 80-100 kilometers. Taking into consideration various weather conditions, the vehicle can travel up to 20,000 kilometers a year, meeting the demand of daily work and life of 85% households.

2. The thin-film solar cells are flexible and bendable.

It is widely known that a vehicle is a combination of technology and art, full of elements of culture and fashion. Glass-like solar panels are in irreconcilable contradiction with the hyperbolic surface of a vehicle, often featured by a variety of beautiful lines. Fortunately, the flexible and bendable solar cells, which can perfectly match different shapes of vehicles, have solved the problem for us.

3. The solar cells are ultralight.

Currently, one watt of solar cells weighs one gram only. As vehicles get increasingly lightweight, the one-gram-per-watt solar cells will not be a burden on the development of automobiles.

4. The solar cells have a strong low light performance.

Ideal sunlight is not always available and it would be great if solar cells could generate electricity in dawn and dark as well as in cloudy days. Getting some energy as supplements even in low light conditions will boost users’ confidence.

 

There are also some other advantages: the solar cells have a long lifespan, decaying just 20% during 25 years, which is significantly superior to the technical standards of other car parts; the solar cells can be easily repaired thanks to the optimized design of the electrical system, which enables the damaged cells to be repaired or changed while keeping other cells working normally.

With the key technologies mentioned above, Hanergy believes that it is perfectly achievable to power an electric vehicle with solar energy and meet the daily demand of average households.
